Electron F5J

The Electron F5J is a throrougbred built ARF competition model using the latest free-flight technology and materials. The three-piece wing features carbon-capped balsa ribs, a carbon trailing edge and molded carbon-sheeted D-box leading edge. The open wing structure is covered with Oracover Lite.

A fiberglass/Kevlar fuselage is painted white in the mold with unidrectional carbon fiber reinforcement placed in strategic locations. The motor bulkhead is pre-installed in the fuselage and requires a 30mm spinner. A 15-gram carbon tail boom with a carbon moldling holding the built-up stabilizer completes the fuselage.

The stabilizer and rudder are built-up and manufactured out of contest grade balsa capped with carbon and covered with Oracover Lite. All the flying surfaces are pre-hinged and carbon control horn are supplied as part of the hardware kit.

The only construction tasks to be performed are attaching the stab platform to the boom, gluing on the fin and control horns, installing the carbon pushrods and installing the remote control radio components.

A complete hardware package, including teflon tubing, carbon pushrods and carbon horns are included.
