Originally designed by Jerry Krainock, the Photon II is able to stay aloft in the smallest of thermals. It is ideally suited for calm to moderate wind conditions, although with ballast it performs well in more windy condtions.
The Photon II features a three-piece wing with a carbon pod and boom, thus allowing to be transported easily.
All flying surfaces are covered with Oracover Lite.
A complete hardware package, including carbon pushrods and Teflon pushrod housings are included.
